Francisco Rèage, nephew of the notorious Pauline Rèage of ‘Story of O’ fame, is to some extent following in his famous aunt’s footsteps. Reage, who lives an inexplicably unattached existence, can sometimes be found in Piazza Navona, walking down the via del Corso in Rome, or else frequenting the bars and cafes of the Latin Quarter in Paris. He’s been seen walking through the streets of Soho in London, and spent several years living between Mannheim in Germany and Monte Carlo, working as a photographer for Italian Vogue. He’s as likely to be found in the British Library reading room, which he declares is his alma mater, as he is to be found on the beach at Torremolinos or perhaps sitting next to you on a flight down the length of Africa…
